Why isn’t my Spark Catch baseball lighting up with a light tap?
If it’s not lighting up, the impact likely isn’t strong enough—especially when tossed with bare hands. It’s designed to activate when caught in a baseball glove. Try a FIRM toss to trigger the lights.
Will the impact-activated LED turn off during play or midair?
No, once the LED is activated by impact, it stays on for 60 seconds. Each time you catch or firmly impact the baseball, the 60-second timer resets.
Can I hit Spark Catch baseball with a bat?
No, it's for pitching and catch only. DO NOT use a bat.
Will low battery cause the light to turn off midair?
No, it gradually dims. Replace the A23 battery (lasts ~12 hrs) when noticeably dim.
